All our devices come Wi-Fi equipped so they can integrate with the Tuya Smart app (available for both Android and iOS). This allows you to control your devices directly from your phone or with voice commands (compatible with Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri). You can now control your CO2 sensor and see your indoor air quality remotely.
In addition, you can use the app to access outdoor air quality data for your city and record your own data over the course of a year.
What is a CO2 sensor and what is it used for?
A CO2 sensor is a device designed to measure the concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the air. It is used to monitor indoor air quality and to ensure that CO2 levels remain within acceptable ranges for both health and comfort.
Why is it important to monitor CO2 levels in the air?
High levels of CO2 in the air can indicate a lack of ventilation and a build-up of pollutants. This can lead to decreased concentration, headaches, increased fatigue, and other health problems. They are also associated with an increased risk of airborne germs contamination. Monitoring CO2 levels allows you to take action to improve air quality and occupant comfort.
How to use a CO2 sensor?
A CO2 sensor is usually placed in a central location in the room at a height of approximately 1.5 to 1.8 metres from the floor. You can install the Eoleaf Smart CO2 sensor on a desk or mount it on a wall. Once installed, the sensor automatically monitors CO2 levels and provides alerts if predefined thresholds are exceeded (1500 ppm in our case).
